Source: The Hollywood Reporter Nick Nolte and Samantha Morton are in negotiations to join the cast of New Line's Pride and Glory, a generational drama about a family of police officers, being directed by Gavin O'Connor and produced by Greg O'Connor, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Colin Farrell, Edward Norton and Noah Emmerich already are on board.
Written by Gavin O'Connor and Joe Carnahan, the story focuses on a three-generation family of officers torn apart by a corruption scandal. Nolte will play the family patriarch, a New York Police Department deputy chief of detectives who has spent 40-plus years on the job. He is the father of Ray (Norton), who is investigating the precinct run by Nolte's other son (Emmerich). |
