New Line has tapped Emmy-nominated scribes Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky to pen the comedy project Heirhead Apparent, set up with producer Mike Karz, reports Variety.
New Line acquired the spec last fall from first time scribe David Clawson. Story centers on the spoiled daughter of a department store tycoon who campaigns to save the store after spending time with workers on the sales floor.
Zuritsky and Rottenberg, who have known each other since they were 9 years old, snagged two Emmy noms for writing "Sex and the City" episodes "My Motherboard, My Self" and "The Ick Factor."
