ThinkFilm has acquired all worldwide rights to the Sundance film OFF THE BLACK, starring Nick Nolte, Timothy Hutton, Sally Kirkland and Trevor Morgan, reports Variety.

Penned and helmed by James Ponsoldt, film follows a teen who forms an unlikely friendship with an irascible high school umpire.

ThinkFilm will roll out the pic in November and offer international rights in Cannes.
