Picturehouse and New Line Intl. have acquired worldwide rights to horror-suspense film AMUSEMENT, to be helmed by John Simpson ("Freeze Frame"), reports Variety.

Script, penned by Jake Wade Wall ("When a Stranger Calls"), is about three women stalked by a killer with a childhood grudge against them.

Lensing is skedded to begin this year. No cast has been set.
