Uma Thurman is set to star in the romantic comedy THE ACCIDENTAL HUSBAND for the Yari Film Group, which is eyeing Griffin Dunne Prods, says Variety.

Two writing teams penned the screenplay: Mimi Hare and Clare Naylor, and Kristen Buckley and Brian Regan ("How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days").

Filming is set to begin this fall in New York. Yari Film is financing.

Story revolves around a psychologist who gets engaged but then learns she is already married. Tracking down the rogue husband, she finds she's conflicted about which man to remain with.
