Mexican actor Kuno Becker ("Goal!") is in talks to star as the young King Farouk in Christopher Miles' long-in-the-works THE LAST PHARAOH, reports Variety.
Budgeted at £4 million ($7.5 million), pic will be produced by Miles and U.K.-based Pyramedia Prods., run by Egyptian media personality Nashwa Al Ruwaini.
Kelly Reilly ("Pride & Prejudice") will play the king's wartime love interest, Barbara Skelton, who was asked to spy on him by the British embassy in Cairo.
