Uma Thurman will topline IN BLOOM an adaptation of Laura Kasischke novel "The Life Before Her Eyes" that Vadim Perelman will direct, reports Variety.

IN BLOOM, to be financed by 2929 Prods., begins lensing in August. Thriller revolves about a woman whose idyllic life crumbles when she survives a shooting spree at a school.

Project marks Perelman's second novel-based film, after "House of Sand and Fog."

Emil Stern wrote the script.
