According to The Hollywood Reporter, DreamWorks has pre-emptively purchased the romantic comedy spec script SHOTGUN WEDDING by Tiffany Zehnal.

The story follows a woman who kidnaps a boyfriend and forces him to marry her in Las Vegas. Zehnal penned "Shotgun" as a spec. She previously was a staff writer on the television shows "Cybill" and "Veronica's Closet." DreamWorks' Kira Goldberg is overseeing the project's development on behalf of the studio.
