Source: Variety Nora Ephron is in talks to direct FLIPPED, says Variaty. She and her sister Delia Ephron are adapting the young-adult novel by Wendelin Van Draanen for East of Doheny. FLIPPED, published by Knopf in 2001, charts the relationship of two kids who lock horns at age 7 and share their first kiss at 13. Nora Ephron, whose credits include "Heartburn" and "You've Got Mail," is writing and directing another book adaptation, "Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen," by Julie Powell, for Columbia Pictures. Delia Ephron is developing Sony's "Sammy," starring Reese Witherspoon, and is writing "Beautiful" for Cary Brokaw's Avenue Pictures. The sisters last collaborated on the script for Sony's "Bewitched."
