DreamWorks Pictures has purchased the romantic comedy pitch VALENTINES DAY, from filmmaker Don Handfield, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The broad romantic comedy revolves around a troubled couple forced to relive Valentine's Day over and over again until they get it right.

Handfield recently sold the teen gridiron spec "Touchback" to Morgan Creek Prods., with David Nutter attached to direct and Underground Films producing. The football drama about a washed-up high school quarterback is scheduled for a fall start date.
