Billy Bob Thornton is attached to star in the feature film adaptation of PEACE LIKE A RIVER, based on the book by Leif Enger, says Production Weekly.

From a screenplay by Kathy McWorter, "Peace" is a tale of loyalty and revenge that revolves around an American family that gets into a deadly spat with some neighborhood thugs. 

The project is looking for a director. Producers are scouting locations in Calgary, Alberta with a plans to begin filming in the Fall.
