Paramount Pictures has acquired the pitch FRENEMIES from Dyanne Stempel and Jennifer Robinson, says The Hollywood Reporter. Caitlin Scanlon ("Coach Carter") will produce for her newly formed shingle Pounce Pictures.

Described as in the vein of "The War of the Roses," the comedy chronicles what happens when two best girlfriends become archenemies. Paramount's Alli Shearmur will oversee the project for the studio.
