Sienna Miller is in final negotiations and Peter Sarsgaard is in talks to star in THE MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH, based on Michael Chabon's 1988 debut novel, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Rawson Marshall Thurber, who most recently helmed "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story," is on board to direct "Pittsburgh," based on a screenplay he adapted from Chabon's coming-of-age book. Michael London is producing through his Groundswell Prods.

The story, which marked Chabon's ("Wonder Boys") literary launch, chronicles the last summer of Art Bechstein's youth and revolves around his eccentric circle of friends including Jane (Miller) and Cleveland (Sarsgaard).
