Source: Variety Don Roos has been tapped by Fox 2000 to adapt the canine bestseller MARLEY & ME, reports Variety. The book, which has been on the bestseller list for 35 weeks, is Philadelphia Inquirer columnist John Grogan's memoir about living for 13 years with his very bad dog, Marley. Gil Netter is producing, with Fox 2000 vice president Rodney Ferrell overseeing. Veteran scribe Roos made his helming debut on 1998's "The Opposite of Sex," which he also wrote. He followed that up helming and penning "Bounce" and, most recently, "Happy Endings." |
