Freddie Prinze Jr. and Taryn Manning have signed on to topline JACK AND JILL VS. THE WORLD for writer-director Vanessa Parise. Shooting starts this summer in Toronto, reports Variety.

Romantic satire of the advertising world,  JACK AND JILL VS. THE WORLD concerns a cynical guy who falls for a carefree young girl with a secret.

Parise co-wrote with Peter Stebbings. Parise, Roger Spottiswoode, Nicholas Tabarrok and Magnet Management are producing; Jordan Gertner and Michael Jaffe exec produce.
