Christian Slater, Steve Buscemi and John Cleese have signed to lend their voices to Exodus Film Group and the Weinstein Co.'s CG-animated feature comedy
IGOR, says
Variety.
Trio already voiced a short film version of IGOR, along with Jay Leno.
Twist on the monster genre follows a mad scientist's hunchbacked lab assistant who has big dreams of winning the Evil Science Fair.
Slater will voice the lead role of Igor, with Buscemi as Scamper -- an intelligent, sarcastic lab rabbit -- and Cleese as Igor's evil master.
Chris McKenna penned the pic, which John Eraklis and Max Howard are producing.
Weinstein Co. has a number of other animated projects in its pipeline, including "Opus," "The Cricket in Times Square" and a new installment in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" franchise. Unit also has unveiled plans for a "Hoodwinked!" sequel, "Hood vs. Evil."
