Evan Rachel Wood will star opposite Uma Thurman in Vadim Perelman's thriller IN BLOOM for 2929 Prods. She will play a younger version of Thurman's character, says The Hollywood Reporter.

In the project, announced by 2929 president Marc Butan, Wood plays Diana, a teenager who witnesses a high school shooting. Fifteen years later, unable to recover from her survivor's guilt, her grip on reality begins to break, leading the adult Diana (Thurman) to face a shocking truth.

Filming on the project begins Aug. 14, with 2929's Butan, Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban serving as executive producers.
