According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Weinstein Co. has picked up North American rights to Darrell James Roodt's thriller PREY, written by Roodt, Beau Bauman and Jeff Wadlow.

The Distant Horizon production stars Bridget Moynahan and Peter Weller as the parents of a American family that visits a game reserve in Africa. Their holiday takes a deadly turn when they become lost in a game reserve and find themselves hunted by lions.
