Mary McCormack has checked into 1408, Dimension Films' horror thriller starring John Cusack, says The Hollywood Reporter.

1408, based on a short story by Stephen King, tells the tale of Mike Enslin (Cusack), a debunker of paranormal occurrences who encounters real terror when he checks into the notorious Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. McCormack will play Lilly, Enslin's estranged wife and mother of his young daughter.

Samuel L. Jackson also is on board the production as the hotel's manager.
