DNA Films and Fox Atomic have rounded out the cast for 28 WEEKS LATER, the sequel to Danny Boyle's 2003 hit "28 Days Later," reports Variety. 

Robert Carlyle will topline, appearing with Rose Byrne, Catherine McCormack, Harold Perrineau, Imogen Poots, Idris Elba, 12-year-old newcomer Mackintosh Muggleton and the previously announced Jeremy Renner.

Pic has started shooting at Three Mills studio in London, helmed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.

The sequel picks up the story six months after a mystery virus has devastated the British Isles, wiping out most of the population.
