Mira Sorvino will star opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo in RESERVATION ROAD, a drama Terry George is directing for Focus Features, says The Hollywood Reporter.

In the film, two families collide when the father of one kills the son of the other in a hit-and-run. Phoenix and Ruffalo are the fathers, and Jennifer Connelly will be Phoenix's wife. Sorvino will play Ruffalo's ex-wife.

The screenplay is by Burnham Schwartz, who is adapting his own book, with revisions by George. RESERVATION ROAD is the inaugural project from a filmmaking partnership between Focus and Random House Films.
