BEOWULF isn't just being shot in 3-D; it's going to be projected in 3-D at more than 1,000 theaters when released in November '07, reports
Variety.
Robert Zemeckis-helmed motion-capture digital pic, to go out through Paramount and Warner Bros., will take advantage of digital 3-D projection technology used recently on Monster House, Chicken Little and last weekend's solid re-release of "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas."
Paramount and Warner Bros. have already pacted with Real D to use its technology to screen the pic in 3-D and likely will work with others, such as Imax, for the release. The 3-D release will be day-and-date with the BEOWULF release in 35mm.
