Variety reports that Myriad Pictures has picked up worldwide rights to the comedy TRAILER PARK BOYS: THE MOVIE, which is based on the long-running Canadian Showcase Television program.

Myriad takes world rights except for Canada, where the pic opened this month to a No. 1 bow.

Movie exec produced by Ivan Reitman follows the antics of three pals looking to complete one last criminal job so they can retire and give up their life of crime.

Mike Clattenburg helmed the pic, which he co-penned with Rob Wells.
