Charles Segars, who developed the story for "National Treasure", has sold his heist pitch Fort Knox to Warner Bros. Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Studio-based Thunder Road Pictures is set to produce the feature, with the company's Basil Iwanyk producing alongside Segars.

Details on the story line were being kept tightly under wraps, but the Fort Knox-set project is said to involve many twists and turns and an unusual plot line.
