Variety reports that Disney is in negotiations with Jeff Bridges for the gymnastics feature Stick It, from writer-director Jessica Bendinger ("Bring It On").

The film tells the story of a teen who carries her rebellious attitude to the regimented world of women's gymnastics.

Missy Peregrym ("Life as We Know It") is set to star as the headstrong gymnast. Bridges will play Vanessa Lengies, her coach and rival.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in May.

Hi I am rebecca 22 from malta. I use to be a gymnast myself and when i saw the movie stick it!! it just made me want to start training again :)) but i see the movie 3 times a day cause of my daughter she's 3 and I want her to be a gymnast :)) plus she loves the movie and stays quiet wile watching it :)) :P
