James Foley has been tapped to direct the Halle Berry psychological thriller Perfect Stranger for Revolution Studios, says The Hollywood Reporter. Deborah Schindler is serving as executive producer.
The screenplay, by Todd Komarnicki from an original script by Jon Bokenkamp, tells the story of a woman (Berry) who gets caught up in the world of obsessive love and death online when she goes undercover to investigate a friend's murder. The film is set to go into production this winter.
Foley's directing credits include "Confidence," "The Chamber," "Fear," "Glengarry Glen Ross" and "At Close Range."
