Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Connelly is in negotiations to join Kate Winslet in Little Children for New Line Cinema.
Todd Field is set to direct the adaptation of the Tom Perrotta novel.
Ron Yerxa and Albert Berger are producing the movie, based on a screenplay co-written by Field and Perrotta. The film is based on the novel by Tom Perrotta about a suburban town where perfect parents rear perfect children by day and surf Internet porn and have affairs by night.
It's unclear what role Connelly will play, but it's been previously reported that Winslet's character is a mother who has a fling with a stay-at-home dad.
