Source: Variety This past Monday we reported that Radha Mitchell had signed on for the lead role in the video game adaptation Silent Hill for TriStar Pictures. Today comes word from Variety that Sean Bean, Laurie Holden, Deborah Kara Unger, Kim Coates and Tanya Allen have all joined the cast. Mitchell stars as Rose, a woman searching for her lost daughter, played by child star Jodelle Ferland ("Tideland"). Bean plays her husband in the chiller, while Holden will play a police officer. The movie is budgeted at $45 million-$50 million, is based on the hugely successful Konami game in which Rose (Mitchell) desperately searches for her lost daughter in the mysterious, terrifying town of Silent Hill, where they are trapped. {mosgoogle} |
