Cameron Diaz will star in Holiday, a Sony Pictures Entertainment comedy that Nancy Meyers ("Something's Gotta Give") wrote and will direct this fall, reports Variety.

Holiday is an ensemble romantic comedy with five central characters. Diaz, whose deal is now being negotiated, will play a woman with man trouble until she crosses paths with a woman from a small English village with a similar dilemma.

Diaz will next be seen in the Curtis Hanson-directed "In Her Shoes."
