Steven Conrad has been hired to adapt J. Robert Lennon's Mailman: A Novel for Paramount Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.

"Mailman" revolves around Albert Lippincott, a letter carrier extraordinaire who is aggressively cheerful and obsessively efficient and who has a penchant for reading other people's mail. When one of his customers ends up dead, and Lippincott is holding the letter that might have saved his life, he sets out on a cross-country odyssey to reconcile with his own family and make meaning out of his life.
