Mia Maestro, Freddy Rodriguez, Kevin Dillon, Jacinda Barrett and Jimmy Bennett have all boarded Wolfgang Petersen's all-star disaster film remake The Poseidon Adventure for Warner Bros. Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Maestro will play a stowaway, and Rodriguez portrays a member of the crew. Dillon, who is receiving praise for his work in "Entourage," portrays a blowhard poker player. Barrett ("Last Kiss") and Bennett ("The Amityville Horror") play a mother-son team trapped on the capsized cruise ship.

As previously reported, Kurt Russell, Richard Dreyfuss, Emmy Rossum and Mike Vogel are also aboard the project.

Like the 1972 original, the story follows the survivors of the S.S. Poseidon, a cruise ship which is capsized by a tidal wave. The survivors, trapped inside, are forced to work their way to the surface of the upside down ship through the hull.
